Reminder of My Worth.

This is what I wish all these schools out here could read. Maybe then it wouldn't matter WHO I KNEW. I found this email in my inbox this morning. Nepotism is absolute bullshit. This is what really counts:

Dear Mrs. Marshall,

I wanted to email you and let you know I love college. I am here at Loyola Marymount University and living on campus. This e-mail is sort of a thank you letter. I wanted to thank you for all the wonderful tips you gave me senior year to improve my writing. Your semi-strict ways and hard critique improved my writing dramatically. My English 110 class is a breeze because you prepared our class to use MLA style format and do things such as embed quotes. There was a lot to thank you for, but overall you were my best English teacher of my educational career. How is Pennsylvania? I hope you are having a great time.

Thank you again,
NW

You're right. That is all that matters. And you WILL find a home again in a classroom. Trust that.
