Thursday night, T and I took a two-hour photography class. The class focused, pun intended, on evening photography, specifically the use of a delayed shutter to allow for light streaks. We had a fabulous time together, and laughed most the evening.

I learned quite a bit about this type of photographing, but I still have a lot yet to learn. I know what the numbers mean, things like f stops and shutter speeds, but it's not intuitive yet. I cannot walk into a situation, assess what needs to be photographed, and know exactly how to set up my camera. At this points it is a lot of trial and error.

I learn best by doing, so I'll just have to keep the camera out, and my finger on the trigger.
