Yesterday I wrote about how next year might be the year I attempt another full-length marathon. Um, ask me about it today, and I'll say, "not so much." Just one mile into today's 5th leg of the marathon, my stupid hip/pelvic pain flared up again - and 7+ hours after having removed my sneakers, it's still hurting. DAMN. IT.
I was all gung-ho last night, and forgot how intense running can really be. 26.2 is a long ass haul.
I'm rethinking things.
Maybe I'll start a little smaller.
How about a half?
